I decided that when buying a new main computer that it should be a laptop simply for the convenience of being able to move it easily, especially since I’m a lazy bastard who likes to loaf around on the sofa with it.

The other day mum said she was off to my uncle’s on sunday. She said I could come if I wanted but she didn’t expect it’d be my thing. My immediate response was “I’d only end up taking this [my laptop].”. That was when it struck me that I bought a laptop on the grounds that it was portable, and am now using it as a measure of unwillingness to move.
